5th Prittlewell Scout Group in Saint Stephens Church Hall, 90 Alton Gardens, Prittlewell, Essex, SS2 6QZ, Near Southend Airport. 

We have Beaver's, Cub's and Scout's and run a Program for each section and a Group Program were all our leaders and helpers work together to lift the standard of the members scouting, also supported by the Group Executive committee.

We have a Wood Badged Leader in each Section. The Wood Badge beads are to recognize significant achievement in leadership and direct service to young people.

Pancake Meal

Tuesday 21^st February 2012

5.30pm – 7pm we will be holding a fundraising meal of Sausages, mash, beans or vegetables with pancakes for pudding (Vegetarian alternatives available). The profit raised will be donated to St. Stephen’s Church Hall fund.

Scout & Explorer District Incident Hike 2012

The Scouts will be taking part in this event on a Sunday, with the Explorers. Our scouts did well last year, and with even more map skill over the year im looking forward to see what they can do. 

Family Camp 2012

Join the fun come to our Family Camp at Thriftwood Scout Camp. If you are an adult on this camp you will need a CRB form very soon as they take up to 4 weeks to process. All Adults Must Be CRB Cleared by scouts any other will not do, sorry.

Outdoor Badge Weekend

18th to 20th May Outdoor Badge Weekend

Scouts from our group will be joining scouts from all round the district for the weekend. This weekend will be at Thriftwood Scout Camp in Brentwood. A weekend of camping and badge work. More to follow about this event.

Renewal of Promise

Beaver, Cubs and Scouts will be renewing there promise in 2012. times to follow at Southend High School for Girls. This is an annual event all scout in every districts take part in. 

Beavers Fun Day

 Beaver Fun Day Sunday 24th June

Our Beaver Scouts will be going to the fun day at Gilwell Park. There activities on offer are: aerial runways, abseiling and climbing, high ropes, rafting, water slides, grass sledging, prusiking, 3G swing. Also face painting, bouncy castles and a fairground.

Essex International Jamboree 2012

 18th-25th August 2012 Essex International Jamboree

Thousands will gather from across the world to create a unique international atmosphere. Adventurous activities, fun, learning and development games and projects as well as events that run into the night.

District Scout Camping Competition

Our Scouts will in the district camping competition at Belchamps.

Indoor Badge Weekend

Scouts from our group will be joining scouts from all round the district for the weekend. We will also be running Jota on the Sat Night. More details to follow. This is a great weekend and a chance to get another badge...

Gilwell Wintercamp

 11th to 13th January 2013 Gilwell Wintercamp  

Our Scouts will be camping with 1th and 2nd Prittlle Scout at Gilwell Winter Camp. Great fun this one, a Great start to the Scouting Year!! You can find out more HERE
